Seneca Sol is uniquely located in the New York Finger Lakes region. Situated on a ridge, it’s sandwiched between Seneca Lake, one mile to the west, and the Finger Lakes National Forrest, one mile to the east. It’s considered a rural area. Vineyards, farms, and forests make up the landscape. The weather is mild due to the microclimates created by Seneca Lake. Wild life is abundant. Beautiful waterfalls and lake vistas are plentiful. Stunning sunsets, and night skies filled with stars. This region is filled with artisans, rich history, and activities for all ages. Eateries, wineries, craft breweries, cideries, distilleries, cheeseries, potteries, live music, water sports, cycling and hiking trails and horseback riding are all only minutes from Seneca Sol.
Seneca Sol is on 10 acres of dense forest land. The acreage surrounding is forest and farm land. Within the dense wooded ecosystem, guests can meander around 1/3 mile of wide hiking trails. Not totally off the grid, a newly constructed bathhouse offers modern comforts. It features large private showers and private toilets. The sink area is shared and where guests will find fresh towels and toiletries. It’s also situated for a short walk to and from campsites. Also on site is a lounge tent. This space is where guests check in, dine, and just hang out. If guests wish to prepare food, a commercial gas grill is located near the lounge tent. Another gathering spot is the fire pit. Every night at dusk a campfire is lit for the guests to enjoy. The water is supplied from wells and filtered for drinking and bathing. Modern septic systems take care of the waste. A secure basement structure exists on site as well. In case of a weather emergency, shelter is easily accessible to guests. If any unforeseen issues arise, management is on site 24 hours a day.
